Privacy Policy

Effective 9/25/2025

This Privacy & Marketing Policy explains how Moose Ai Legion (“we”, “our”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information when you visit our website, sign up for our services, or receive marketing messages (including email and SMS). It also explains your choices and rights regarding marketing communications. This policy complements any separate Terms of Service you may have agreed to.

Quick summary

  • We collect contact and device information (name, email, phone, IP, device identifiers) to provide services and run marketing campaigns.

  • You must give clear, affirmative consent before we send marketing SMS messages; you can opt out at any time. We follow U.S. TCPA / FCC rules, CAN-SPAM (email), EU GDPR & PECR, and Canada’s CASL.

  • Message frequency, costs, opt-out method, and help information are provided in every promotional SMS we send. We keep records of consents and opt-outs.

Information we collect

  • Contact & identity: name, email address, phone number, company name, job title.

  • Communication data: message content, SMS opt-in/opt-out records, customer support logs.

  • Usage & device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, cookie IDs, analytics.

  • Transactional data: purchases, invoices, subscription status.

We collect data you provide directly and automatically (e.g., when you visit our site or use our services).

How we use personal data

  • Deliver services and support your account.

  • Send service messages (account updates, billing).

  • Send marketing communications (email, SMS) only when you’ve given the required consent.

  • Improve our products, detect abuse, comply with laws, and perform analytics.

Lawful bases (where applicable): consent, contractual necessity, legitimate interests, and legal compliance.

SMS & Marketing — consent, content, and opt-out

Because SMS and automated calls are heavily regulated, we follow the applicable rules below.

U.S. (TCPA & FCC)

  • We will only send SMS marketing to U.S. mobile numbers when we have prior express written consent for autodialed or prerecorded messages to that number. That consent must be a clear, conspicuous, affirmative action (e.g., checking an unchecked box or entering a phone number on a form with an explicit consent statement). Recordkeeping of that consent is maintained.

  • Every marketing SMS will include: identification of Moose Ai Legion, message frequency (or “varies”), message & data rates notice, clear opt-out instructions (e.g., “Reply STOP to opt-out”), and HELP information.

A2P / 10DLC & carrier requirements

  • For U.S. A2P/10DLC messaging we register campaigns and publish a messaging privacy policy and website as required by carriers and aggregators. We collect and retain consent documentation to support campaign approvals.

Canada (CASL)

  • For recipients in Canada we rely only on express or valid implied consent under CASL. Every commercial electronic message includes sender identification and an unsubscribe mechanism. Consent records are retained.

EU / UK (GDPR & PECR)

  • For EU/UK recipients, marketing SMS or email is sent only with a lawful basis — typically explicit consent for direct marketing (unless a narrow “soft opt-in” applies). Consent requests are prominent, separate from other terms, and logged. Data subject rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, objection) are respected.

Sample Consent Language

By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring automated promotional text messages from Moose Ai Legion at the phone number I provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt-out at any time. For help, reply HELP or contact [email protected]. View Privacy Policy: https://mooseailegion.example/privacy

Opt-out, HELP, and Support

  • SMS opt-out: Reply STOP to any promotional message from us and you will no longer receive marketing SMS from that number. We will confirm opt-out with a final message.

  • SMS HELP: Reply HELP for assistance or contact support at [email protected] or call +1-(442) 944-0049.

  • Email opt-out: Click the unsubscribe link in the email footer; we process unsubscribe requests promptly in accordance with CAN-SPAM, CASL, and other laws.

Message Frequency and Cost

  • Frequency: We specify expected frequency in opt-in flows (e.g., “up to 6 messages/month”) and include “varies” when uncertain.

  • Cost: Message & data rates may apply — recipients are responsible for SMS fees charged by their carrier. We include this notice in every SMS.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We may share personal data with:

  • Service providers (SMS gateways, email platforms, analytics, payment processors) under contracts that limit use to providing services.

  • Legal/regulatory authorities if required by law.

  • Other parties with your consent or as part of a business transfer (e.g., sale, merger) with notice.

We require third-party providers to maintain safeguards and only use the data for the services they perform.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal data as long as necessary for business purposes (account servicing, legal compliance, consent records). For consent/account closure, we retain limited records of opt-outs/consent to demonstrate compliance.

Data subject requests (access, correction, deletion) are handled in accordance with applicable law. Under certain laws we may retain records to comply with legal obligations or defend legal claims.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards (access controls, encryption in transit, monitoring) to protect personal information. No system is perfect — if a data breach affecting personal data occurs we will follow legal requirements for notification.

International Transfers

If we transfer personal data outside your country (for example, between the U.S., EU, and Canada), we use appropriate safeguards (standard contractual clauses, contractual protections) to meet legal requirements.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by applicable law (usually 13 or 16). If we learn we retained information of a child in violation of law, we will delete it.

Your Rights & Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • Access copies of your personal data.

  • Correct inaccurate information.

  • Erase data (subject to exceptions).

  • Restrict or object to processing for direct marketing.

  • Port your data to another provider.

  • Withdraw consent to marketing at any time (this does not affect processing done before withdrawal).

To exercise rights, contact [email protected]. We may require identity verification.

Compliance & Recordkeeping

To support regulatory compliance (TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR/PECR, carrier policies) we maintain:

  • Time-stamped consent records and the consent language displayed.

  • Opt-in source (web form, checkbox, API) and IP address.

  • Records of opt-out requests and confirmation messages.

  • Campaign registrations for A2P/10DLC where required.

Enforcement Risks and Penalties

Violations of TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL or GDPR/PECR can result in statutory penalties, enforcement actions, fines, and private litigation. Because the legal landscape (especially for autodialers, AI-driven messaging, and voice cloning) is evolving, we maintain conservative consent practices and regular legal review.

Third-Party Links & Widgets

Our site may link to third parties and their privacy practices may differ from ours. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices — review their policies before sharing personal data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with an updated “Last updated” date. We may also notify users where required.
